PTM Programme Held Grandly at Pamidi TC Government School; Students Educated on Drug Abuse Prevention
Pamidi Rural, July 24: A Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was conducted successfully at Pamidi TC Government School as part of the State Government's initiative. A large number of parents attended the programme and interacted with teachers to discuss their children's academic progress and overall development.
State Labour Department Chairman G. Venkata Shiva Yadav attended the event as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he said that the coalition government is committed to strengthening government schools by providing all essential facilities to students as per the directions of the Education Minister.
He encouraged students to study with discipline and bring pride to their parents, teachers, school, and village. He stated that the government is ensuring quality mid-day meals and improved infrastructure in government schools. He also highlighted the "Talliki Vandanam" scheme, under which eligible mothers of students receive ₹13,000, along with an additional ₹2,000 for school development.
Mr. Venkata Shiva Yadav urged students to excel not only in academics but also in sports and aim for success at the state and national levels.
During the programme, students were given awareness on the harmful effects of drug abuse. He advised them to stay away from drugs and other harmful addictions and develop healthy habits for a bright future. He also appealed to parents to closely monitor their children's behaviour and guide them on the right path.
Later, he inspected the school's mid-day meal programme and instructed the staff to ensure nutritious and quality food for students. He also shared lunch with the students.
The programme was attended by former Gooty Market Yard Chairman Prabhakar Chowdary, committee members, public representatives, teachers, parents, and other dignitaries.
