The deceased, Aruna (40), had reportedly been involved in frequent disputes with her husband Faltoti Rama Rao (45) over his suspicions. During an argument on Sunday night, Rama Rao attacked his wife, resulting in her death. Following this, he consumed poison and committed suicide.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community. Prakasam district police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the tragedy.
